Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actor and model. Her birth date was 11th November 1966. She made her feature film debut with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to appear as a anti-Nazi archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). There were also roles for Siobhan Dovan on the film A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). Doody started modeling after being invited by a professional photographer. The result was an enviable career as a commercial model. Doody did not shy away from glamour or sexually explicit work. This was a policy was extended to her acting career. Having come to the attention of the casting director of an upcoming James Bond film she accepted the role of Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody was selected as one of the top twelve promising young actors in the year 1986 by John Willis Screen World. 38. She first appeared in the film Taffin alongside Pierce Brosnan. Next, she played Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian Nazi-sympathizer and archaeologist opposite Harrison Ford. Doody played alongside Sean Connery in the film and played the role of her father in the film. Doody co-starred in 1991 with Jonathan Pryce opposite the British mini-series Selling Hitler, which was inspired by the publication fraud named The Hitler Diaries. She later moved to Hollywood. She played Flannery as Flannery in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. Doody returned to acting in 2003 with a minor role in her role in the British comedy film The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at the awards ceremony. Doody was a co-star, along alongside Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version of King Solomon's Mines. Doody recorded a part in Danny Dyer's 2010 film The Rapture. The Clinic, a medical drama that aired on RTE. The Asphyx was her 2011 remake. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. The following year, she appeared as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. The Almeria tierra de film award was awarded to her on the 21st of November in 2018.
